Many years ago on this blog I started to visit the best rated Indian restaurant in every city, a project that I must bring together at some point. One abandoned project was to visit every Indian restaurant in Norfolk, as well as every church, which my friend Richard and I embarked on. With numerous sidelines, we never quite got round to completing either of these. Well, I’ve finally got myself organised, and from October 2026 we will be visiting an Indian restaurant every month. I’ve extended Norfolk into Lowestoft as well, primarily as I like Lowestoft Tandoori so much that I can’t omit that.
So, I’ve somehow managed to get 20 friends together so that there’s at least six or so people available every month, so this marks the start of yet another series! At the end of each month’s visit I’ll present a list of three options and we’ll go to the one with the highest number of votes. I like democracy.
