<p>The view down into the secluded little bay, with the water being clear and inviting. Although not so inviting that I wanted to swim in it.</p>
<p><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-9447" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1" alt="" width="300" height="225" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?w=2000&amp;ssl=1 2000w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220747.jpg?w=3000&amp;ssl=1 3000w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a></p>
<p>A few people came down to take photos, but our groups were the only ones to either swim or paddle in the water. The steps were slightly more rickety than I&#8217;d have liked, but were fortunately stable.</p>
<p><a href="https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?ssl=1"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-9446" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1" alt="" width="300" height="225" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?w=2000&amp;ssl=1 2000w, https://i0.wp.com/www.julianwhite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1220737.jpg?w=3000&amp;ssl=1 3000w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a></p>
<p>All very idyllic, although there were a few pieces of green glass which had to be avoided. It&#8217;s a shame that people think that taking a bottle down which then gets smashed is somehow a good idea&#8230;.</p>
